Scott Winters
Owner, Program Director
Scott Winters is the owner/program director of Horseshoe Mountain Academy. He has over 25 years of experience working with the youth. He conducts the initial screening process to assure that the program meets the individual needs of each client. He meets with parents of clientele, as well as other organizations to explain Horseshoe Mountain Academy’s program elements and mission. Scott dedicates his time and knowledge to ensure that each client excels in her ability to be successful and happy.

Ethan Colburn
Therapist
Ethan Colburn graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors in Psychology. Ethan then continued his education and received his Masters in Clinical Mental Health from University of Phoenix. He has many years of experience working with mental health issues in adults, adolescents, and children. He provides and/or supervises the delivery of clinical services which includes the training of direct care staff on treatment issues and PRS class delivery. Ethan Colburn in conjunction with the treatment team (Administrators, program director, client, and family members of the client), develops the individualized treatment plans of each client served by our program and closely monitors each client’s progress. Ethan assures that all mental health evaluations/assessments are current and accurate. He responsively maintains and documents client therapeutic records.

Jennifer Cook
Office Administrator
Jennifer has been working with the youth for nearly a decade and has proven herself to be an advocate for all of our clients. She has a kind heart and believes in our mission of treatment. Jennifer is a valuable member of the treatment team and works closely with the team dedicating her time and self to ensure each client is progressing and that their needs are met.
